About
Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn Constituency Labour Party (CLP) represent all those who live within the Scottish Parliament constituency of the same name. This includes Acre, Ashfield, Balgrayhill, Balornock, Cadder, Carron, Colston, Cowlairs, Gairbraid, Germiston, Hamiltonhill, Kelvindale, Keppochhill, Kirklee, Lambhill, Maryhill, Milton, Parkhouse, Petershill, Port Dundas, Possilpark, Royston, Ruchill, Sighthill, Springburn, Summerston and Wyndford.
Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn CLP is spread over two Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies Glasgow North and Glasgow North East.
The constituency is also a part of Glasgow City Council, where the Glasgow Labour Group is led by Councillor Malcolm Cunning. The 30 Glasgow Labour Councillors stand up for communities across Glasgow and seek to put our city first and make the case that Glasgow deserves better.
The CLP is a member-led organisation that meets every month in the constituency as well as organising year-round community campaigning and events. The CLP also chooses the members who represent the area at our Annual Conferences and help selects our parliamentary and council candidates.
